Shadow

I raised this boy to be my next riding horse. He’s been trained almost from birth using natural horsemanship skills (Parelli). In a Parelli horsenality profile he seems to be a left brain extrovert. I don’t believe in breaking horses at two years old so I waited on purpose to start riding him. I was having so much fun riding the mares that I put off breaking him to ride until the fall of 2007, so he was almost 3 1/2. One of my horse friends "broke" him to ride after the accident. Her first ride was bareback with a halter and a lead rope. He has 60 days plus of riding that way or with a saddle and bridle. Since my accident he has mainly been trail ridden alone, with one other or with a group . He has also been played with in a round pen and in an arena.

Dust Cloud's Shadow is a DNA tested smoky black 14.3 hand blue papered '04 MFT (04-84390) gelding. He has a blaze down to lower lip, a half stocking on the left hind and a sock on right hind. He has had regular farrier work (Barefoot trim -- great feet) and is current with vaccinations and worming.

He's a horse with a great personality -- smart, friendly, charismatic, curious , learns quickly and loves attention. He's easy to catch, lead, saddle, loads and trailers well. Shadow has a pretty head and lots of style when he moves. He has a smooth foxtrot . He would be good for show, pleasure, working cattle or anything you're in to.

Shadow has had excellent care in a loving home all his life and needs someone willing to continue his natural horsemanship training and provide him a new forever home.
