Beautiful Foxtrotters
Just a few pictures of my girls and boy!
Mamas Sandy and Sapphire are wonderful ladies that raise beautiful colts and are a joy to ride. They had it pretty easy for a few years, but the foals are grown now, so we hit the trails the past 3 summers. We've taken Natural Horsemanship classes for three years, gone on campouts, trail rides, did a couple breed demonstrations and even learned to swim! Sandy took to swimming like a fish by the time the weekend was over. Sapphire never overcame the fear of sucking down into the mud but she did swim - once! My most favorite ride was for 3 days in the Big Horn Mtns of Wyoming with the Wyoming and Montana Missouri Foxtrotter Association affiliates. Sapphire and I traveled 45 miles that weekend and made several new friends. All of the rides have been wonderful and we saw lots of beautiful scenery.
M'Lady Guinevere, or as we lovingly nicknamed her, Gwen, is a 2003 palomino mare that has lots of spirit and personality. She is out of my palomino mare and is now spoiled by A.O. McDonald's granddaughters in Kansas.
Cloud Dancer, aka Storm, is a 2003 dark buckskin mare that is smart and level headed out of my black mare. She is owned by M. Czarnek in Custer.
The buckskin 2004 filly, Custer's Annie Oakley, aka Morgan, is a full sister to M'Lady Guinevere, the 2003 palomino mare. A.O. also took Morgan home to be spoiled by his granddaughters.
The only baby I have left is a 2004 horse, Dust Cloud's Shadow. Except he's not really a baby any longer. He's a gentle, loving handsome young man with a fun personality. He is a full brother to Cloud Dancer, the 2003 buckskin mare. I had him DNA tested and he is a confirmed smoky black. Shadow has a superb conformation and a quick, curious mind. I looked forward to riding him.
